The InvitationThe WallModeleticsLadder of AbstractionModeling Theology

In CS Lewis' last book, "The Discarded Image", Lewis wrote we ought to determine the Model (Lewis used a capital "M") incorporating all our beliefs without contradiction. He gave us two rules for modeling. First, the Model should cover all the observed effects without contradiction. Second, if two Models satisfy the first rule, we should choose the simpler Model. Lewis believed that a scientist would determine this Model, not a theologian, pastor, philosopher, etc. Lewis concluded his book urging us to get better tools to find more truth. He wrote these better tools would allow us to ask better questions of reality and Nature in order to get "total truth".

This website continues the legacy of CS Lewis by presenting these four God-given tools determining truth. I call them "Modeletics(tm)" in honor of CS Lewis. Click the following link to get more information about "Modeling with CS Lewis".

Lewis also wrote how we need an explanation for how people take reality into their brain. In the last five years, this physiological explanation has been identified. It consists of the Unaware Brain, the conscious brain, the first feedback loop, and the second feedback loop. It turns out, the brain models according to these four principles! Finally, I wrote a novella about CS Lewis and the importance of modeling: "The Brothers Karamazowsky"

If you want a straight philosophical overview, click here.

"Modeling God" is the first in a series of books that together present a non-contradictory worldview.
For a glimpse at the Big Picture begin above with "The Invitation".
